Installing Alpagua on iPhone and iPad
Alpagua is not on the App Store yet: it is in beta on TestFlight, Apple's app for trying apps before the App Store. It needs iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
Installing
- Ask for an invitation: send your first name, last name and email address to dev@alpagua.com. They are only used to invite you.
- Install TestFlight from the App Store, signed in with the Apple Account of that email address.
- Open the invitation Apple sends, on the iPhone or iPad: it opens TestFlight, which offers Alpagua. Accept, then Install.
Updating
TestFlight offers each new build, and installs it over the previous one, keeping your data; it can do so by itself (in TestFlight, Alpagua › Automatic Updates). A build expires 90 days after it was published: a newer one is out by then.
Where your data is
On the device, in the app's storage. Your notes, documents and skills are in the Files app, On My iPhone (or iPad) › Alpagua, where other apps can open them. The API keys and tokens are in the Keychain.
Uninstalling
Long press the icon, Remove App, Delete App. iOS deletes the data with the app: conversations, notes, documents, skills. Export first (Settings › Backup and transfer) if you may want them back, and keep the archive outside the Alpagua folder.
